- Provide and operate our facility management and audit services
- Deliver inspection reports, issue notifications and work order updates

- Facilitate communication between FFS staff and site clients
- Send transactional emails and push notifications relevant to your role
- Maintain security and prevent unauthorised access
- Improve and develop our application and services
We only use your information for the purposes described above. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard infrastructure. Specifically:
- Data is stored on Supabase, a cloud database platform hosted in Australia and the United States
- All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS
- All data at rest is encrypted by the storage provider
- Access to data is controlled by role-based permissions — users can only access information relevant to their role and assigned sites
- Photographs and media files are stored in secure, access-controlled cloud storage
While we take all reasonable precautions to protect your personal information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials confidential.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
Data is shared only within your organisation and with the following trusted service providers that are necessary to operate CleanOps:
- Supabase — database and file storage (supabase.com)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com)
- Expo — push notification infrastructure (expo.dev)
Each provider processes your data only as necessary to deliver their service and is bound by appropriate data processing agreements.
6. Photos and Media
CleanOps allows users to upload photographs in connection with issue reports, inspection checklists and work orders. The following applies to all uploaded media:
- Photos are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage
- Access is restricted to authorised FFS staff and relevant site contacts
- Photos are used solely for the operational purpose for which they were submitted
- Photos are not shared publicly or with unrelated third parties
7. Push Notifications
CleanOps uses push notifications to keep you informed about issues, inspection results, work order updates and other time-sensitive events relevant to your role.
- Push notifications are delivered via Expo's notification infrastructure
- Your device push token is stored securely and associated with your account
- You can disable push notifications at any time in your device’s Settings app
- Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use CleanOps
8. Your Rights
Under Australian privacy law (Privacy Act 1988) and applicable regulations, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- Withdraw consent for specific uses of your information (where applicable)
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)

9. Children’s Privacy
